Do you care deeply about design? Do you toss and turn at night because the logo you’re presently working on is not yet kerned correctly? Do you often respond to advertising with claims that you could do it better? If this sounds familiar, we may have the perfect place for you in our demanding, but always fun, creative department. Naturally, you’ve already mastered the tools of the trade— Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver —and possess a killer book that will pique our interest. Copy Intern
Words flow from your fingers like a river in rainy season. You turn a phrase like the Braves turn double plays. You form triple entendres in the shower for fun. Yet, you wonder what to do with all this talent. The poets you know all struggle to survive by working jobs they despise. You think, maybe you could find a home in advertising, like all the other failed (and sometimes successful) screenwriters you’ve heard about. If you have that rare combination of writing talent and business acumen, you may be right. To test the waters, send samples of your strange, but wonderful, spec ads to Bruce DeFrees at bdefrees@bfgcom.com.
Production Intern
Some call you “hyper organized,” others might call you a stickler for detail,” we just might call you our new Production Intern. Our lucky Production Intern will help make sure the dashingly clever work we do everyday for our clients (hint: the copy team wrote this) ends up in the right places and in front of the right faces. Of course, you’ll have to juggle multiple jobs at once and master the finer points of print media all while under pressure. But that’s just how you roll anyway, right? You’re already a star; you just don’t know it yet. We’ll make you shine and help you light up your future. Think you can bedazzle us? Shoot your resumé to Jill King at jking jking@bfgcom.com.
